What is longsightedness?
Longsightedness is a natural and irreversible change in eyesight that can affect anyone, men and women alike, from the age of 40.
Because the crystalline lens, the eye’s natural lens, loses its elasticity, it becomes more difficult to focus.
Longsighted people have blurred vision close up (less than 60 centimeters), which is particularly difficult for reading – unless you have glasses that correct your sight properly.
Our READING glasses for correcting longsightedness
Especially designed to correct longsightedness, our ultra-light, anti-scratch magnifying lenses give you clear vision for reading.
Note that you will need to remove your glasses to see distant objects.
You can use a neck cord to keep them close at hand at all times.
We offer lenses with the following diopters: +1, +1.5, +2, +2.5 and +3.
The correction is the same for both lenses.
We do not go beyond +3 for practical and aesthetic reasons, and also because these high corrections require customized support.
Please note that ZEE YOUNG is not an optician.
We do not offer correction for other sight problems (hypermetropia, astigmatism or shortsightedness).
All our models are ready to use: we do not offer made-to-measure correction.
It is important to choose the right correction to avoid damaging your eyes prematurely.
It is also essential not to over-correct your sight.
If you need a +1.75 diopter (which we do not offer), we recommend that you opt for +1.5, not +2.
Bear in mind that longsightedness changes with age and that you will need to alter your correction over the years.

Similarly, READING SCREEN glasses have a dual purpose: to correct longsightedness and to protect your eyes from the blue light emitted by screens.
If you're longsighted and spend a lot of time on the computer, this is the pair for you.
How long does it take to prepare my order?
Generally, all orders placed before 23:00 on a working day will be dispatched on the same day, except in cases of force majeure. Otherwise, they will be shipped the next day if the next day is a business day.
visualseries 's guarantee conditions
All items sold by visualseries come with a guarantee.
If, within two years of purchase, an visualseries product suffers damage that is not the result of improper use, visualseries will replace it or refund the purchase price.
Please note that if the pair has been handled by a third party, it will lose its guarantee. For exact terms and conditions, please refer to our General Terms and Conditions.
If you wish to benefit from the guarantee, you will need to provide proof of purchase (order reference for a purchase from the visualseries website; receipt for a purchase in a store), take photos of the damaged part and contact our Happy Customer Service by sending an email to: visualserieseyeglasses@gmail.com.
How do I return my order?
You have 30 days from receipt of your order to make a return. The product must be returned in perfect condition, in its original packaging, and with all the elements received: glasses, box, and case.
Please note that for return shipping, visualseries pays all shipping costs.
What is the timeframe for returning an order?
When you buy online, you have a 30-day cooling-off period from the date you receive your order.
This period may be extended in exceptional circumstances, for example during the Christmas period.
The refund will be made via the same payment method used to order and purchase the item.
Why do I have to pay for the return postage?
visualseries has covered all delivery costs. However, please note that by using our platform to make a return, you will be entitled to a free return!
